1. Shivanasamudra Falls

Karnataka has many such places that can be compared to other-worldly natural beauty. In the state lies Shivasamudram falls, in the Mandya District. It divides into two twin waterfalls with an average width of 305 meters, a height of 98 m. Cascading down these two waterfalls are wrapped with a great degree of flora and fauna. The fall is said to be the second largest waterfall in India. Many travelers and photography buffs come here to capture the memory with camera flashes and in their hearts.

2. Dudhsagar Falls

After Bollywood movie Chennai Express featured this waterfall in the movie, it gained a lot of popularity. Dudhsagar waterfalls are one of the largest waterfalls in India and they rest on the Mandovi River in Goa. They make a bewitching sight in monsoon, at time of the year they are in full flow and if you can catch a glimpse of them during drizzling, it will take your breath away. The milky foam falling down looks like the panacea. Surrounded amidst the green mountains, it is one hell of a sight.

The largest fall in Kerala, Athirappilly Waterfalls, are surrounded by the lush green forest. It is often called the ‘Niagara in India’ as they will keep your eyes hooked for longer than you can imagine. The water falling from the edge of the mountain looks like silver bestowed upon Earth from heaven. This one is a must visit, among the other waterfalls in India.

Located in the Tawang district of Arunachal Pradesh, Nuranang falls aka Bong Bong falls is one of the undiscovered spots of India. The mystical view of this wonder of nature is breathtaking. In recent years, this is becoming one of the most alluring tourist spots in North East India.
