No More Stress About Drunk Texting, WhatsApp’s ‘Delete For Everyone’ Feature Is Here!

There are many times when you must have thought that you had the power of traveling back in time or reverse time, so you can simply undo the last task you did – A WhatsApp message. There are many times (especially when drunk) that we regret hitting that send button and feel immensely foolish or guilty of doing so but race yourself as the magical power of undoing that is going to be bestowed upon you by WhatsApp soon.

No more cursing and self-loathing as WhatsApp will introduce a revoking feature soon or we can say it’s just an update away.

According to wabetainfo, WhatsApp has started rolling out this new feature which is called ‘Delete For Everyone’ (Recall), for its Android, iOS, and Windows smartphone users.

We know that you can’t wait to get in on your phone as ‘Delete For Everyone’ feature will make your texting life a little better. You can delete all types of messages, including texts, pictures, GIFs, videos, contacts and more. It works on one to one and group messages both.

But There Is A Catch!

Although, it allows you to delete the message but within a time frame. The assumptions are that you have to recall the message within 5 to 7 minutes. Another thing that is crucial, the receiver should not see the message before deleting or it won’t work.

There is another twist, if you think WhatsApp is gonna save you from all the trouble then you are mistaken. Even after deleting the message the receiver will get the notification stating  ‘This message was deleted’.

BUMMER!

With all these limitations, this feature still makes many lives easier. All we can think is whether to die or cry of happiness.
