Tinder to Launch a Boost Function

Tinder has launched its Boost option that will allow the users to show their profile on the top of the tally for 30 minutes. Tinder will provide one weekly boost to each user but if there is a need of another boost, the users can buy an additional one whenever they want. The company has launched this function in Australia and is planning a worldwide launch soon.

They said that this option can increase the number of views of the user profile up to 10 times and also provide the stats about the effect of the boost on a particular profile.

If you are single and desperately want to have some company(more right swipes eh?) then this function can actually ‘boost’ the number of swipes of your profile.

Tinder’s  success could be seen in the metro cities like Delhi and Mumbai where people have disposable money and time to disburse on this app. Men’s usage of this app is far more higher as compared to women because the term ‘hunting women’ is still not digestible and considered a taboo in the Indian Culture.

One thing that the users like(both men and women) is that they do not have to act like they are going to marry each other, as in the case of other matrimonial sites. The main reason behind the invention of this app was to allow users to befriend others with no compulsion to think about their future. They talk, they meet, have lunch, enjoy and after that, they can go home without any formalities.
