Nokia P1 is all set for a launch at MWC 2017 and the rumors about the smartphone being a premium flagship from Nokia has already intrigued many, and after the ‘God like’ performance of Nokia 6 during Chinese flash sales, it looks like the company is going to uproot every other competitor in the industry.
The Nokia brand is now owned by the Finnish company, HMD Global and it is gearing up to launch some new smartphones at Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona. They have already sent out media invites for an event scheduled on 27th February and we are in for another surprise.
If you are a Nokia fan, then you must have seen the teaser of Nokia P1 and for those who didn’t, you have really missed something phenomenal. Here is the teaser that made Nokia P1 the most anticipated flagship launch of 2017.

The teaser itself can be compared to the one of a Superhero movie and now we have the actual insight of Nokia P1. The video features an unofficial design but Youtube channel Concept Creators has always provided us with some of the closest design and what they have imagined Nokia P1 to be, is just mouth watering.
The device seems to be made out of metal and glass and comes with a home key below the display. The power/lock button and volume rockers are placed on the right-hand side of the phone’s body, and same goes for the dedicated physical camera key.
At the bottom, you’ll find not only a type-C USB 3.0 port adjacent to a 3.5mm headphone jack, but the phone’s speakers too. Concept Creators has shown Nokia P1 to be an almost bezel less design and going by the above teaser, that’s what we are going to see in the final product.

Nokia P1 is rumored to launch with snapdragon 835 processor and a 23 MP camera. The device is also rumored to boast 6GB of RAM and a 5.5-inch screen with 2K (QHD) display.

The heart of the matter is, Nokia was once the lone wolf in smartphone industry and after Nokia 6 is dominating the sales chart in China, the former ruler is eyeing the flagship market, in which the likes of Samsung, LG and Apple are already competing. The journey to reclaim the top spot is not going to be easy but Nokia P1 has everything in the backpack to let us drool over in anticipation.
