Vodafone Idea merger was all over the news last month and after the newly merged entity announced huge overall losses for its first quarter, Vodafone is trying to get back in the game as the private Indian telco has launched a new prepaid offer under which subscribers can avail 100 per cent cashback on prepaid recharges.
For the unknown, other telcos such as Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel have been offering cashback discounts on prepaid recharges for a long time now and Vodafone has decided to join the bandwagon with an even better offer of 100 per cent cashback on prepaid recharge plans. Users will be avail this offer only through the MyVodafone app and they will receive the said cash back in form of coupons worth Rs. 50 each.
How can these coupons be redeemed and which Vodafone recharge packs are covered under the 100 per cent cashback offer. Here are all the needed details.
Vodafone is offering the 100 per cent cashback scheme on three of its prepaid recharge packs priced at Rs 399, Rs 458 and Rs 509. For the unknown, the Vodafone Rs. 399 prepaid plan comes with 1.4GB of daily high-speed data, unlimited local, STD and roaming voice calling benefit, 100 SMS per day with a validity of 70 days.
On the other hand, the Vodafone Rs. 458 and Rs. 509 prepaid recharge plans come with 1.4GB of daily high-speed data, unlimited local, STD and roaming voice calling benefit, 100 SMS per day with a validity of 84 and 90 days respectively.
Since Vodafone 100 per cent cashback offer can be availed in form of redeemable coupons worth Rs. 50 each, users will get eight, nine and ten such vouchers with the Vodafone Rs. 399, Rs. 458 and Rs. 509 prepaid recharge plans, respectively. On the other hand, these coupons will be credited to your account automatically and they can be redeemed on further recharges via the MyVodafone App.
Vodafone users will be able to avail the Rs. 50 discount on every prepaid recharge worth Rs. 399, Rs. 458 and Rs. 509 but it should be noted that the recharges will have to be done for the same Vodafone number on which the Rs. 50 coupons were credited. This means that users won’t be able to redeem these coupons on other Vodafone numbers apart from their own. Moreover, only one coupon can be redeemed for every recharge.
For example, if a user opts for any of the Vodafone Rs. 399, Rs. 458 and Rs. 509 prepaid recharge plans in the future, he or she will be able to apply one Rs. 50 coupon, which will bring down the cost his or her prepaid plan to Rs. 349, Rs. 408 and Rs. 449, respectively.
