The Oppo F9 Pro and Oppo F9 have been launched in India after much speculation and while these smartphones are touted to be the best all-rounders in the budget smartphone segment, both of them come with the company’s waterfall design theme which features a very small notch over the display housing the front camera sensor.
On the other hand, the Oppo F9 Pro also comes with VOOC flash charge technology which is touted to be a major breakthrough in charging a smartphone. While the VOOC flash charge technology is backed by artificial intelligence, it features five layers of protection and is capable of charging Oppo F9 Pro’s battery up to 50 per cent in just under 30 minutes.
On the other hand, another highlight of the Oppo F9 Pro and Oppo F9 is the inbuilt Google Lens integration which will help users in identifying objects via the camera application, and also receive all the relevant information related to the object from any scene.
The Oppo F9 Pro and Oppo F9 are powered by an octa-core Helio P60 processor and come with features such as Split Screen which will enable users to use two apps at the same time on the screen. Oppo F9 Pro also comes with support for the popular game PUBG, which coupled with the Split Screen mode, can allow gamers to use apps such as WhatsApp simultaneously.
Moreover, the Oppo F9 Pro’s 25-megapixel selfie camera was also highlighted at the launch event which also comes with HDR sensor for enhanced selfies. Both the Oppo F9 Pro and Oppo F9 also come with the AI Beautification 2.1 feature which will offer customized beautification options for each and every person present the image. Other features of the Oppo F9 Pro and Oppo F9 include a SuperVivid mode which can be used for colourful images and videos, updated AR stickers and support for slow-motion videos.

The OPPO F9 Pro will be made available in Sunrise Red, Starry Purple and Twilight Blue color options with a radiant design while the OPPO F9 will be made available in Black and Purple colour options. The Oppo F9 Pro and Oppo F9 are priced at Rs 23,990 and Rs 19,990, respectively, while the Oppo F9 Pro and Oppo F9 smartphones will be available from both offline as well as online mode.
Pre-orders for the Oppo F9 Pro have already begun on Flipkart and will go on sale starting from August 31 while it will also be made available through Amazon and Paytm Mall. Coming to offline retail, both the Oppo F9 Pro And Oppo F9 will be available through offline retailers such as Reliance Digital, Croma, Sangeetha, Big C and more.
As part of the Oppo F9 Pro launch offers, if you purchase the smartphone with an ICICI Bank Credit card, you can avail 10 per cent cashback, but up to Rs 2,000, on buying the Oppo F9 Pro via EMI offers. On the other hand, Reliance Jio subscribers can avail 3.2TB of free 4G data along with additional benefits of up to Rs 4,900.
