OnePlus 6 Price In India Leaked Ahead Of Upcoming Launch

OnePlus 6 is arguably the most talked about smartphone these days and since the Chinese manufacturer has made the launch date official, the hype around this upcoming flagship has risen leap and bounds. For the unknown, OnePlus 6 will be unveiled in India on 17 May and will go on sale for the first time on May 21, which was confirmed by the company, earlier this month. That being said, the smartphone, just like its predecessor will be an Amazon exclusive while pre-orders along with the ‘Notify Me’ option have already been made live on the e-commerce site.

This brings us to the OnePlus 6 price in India, which is topic that doesn’t seem to end among the analysts from the industry, as OnePlus has rightly managed to keep the price of its upcoming smartphone, under wraps. However, according to a recent report, the price of the OnePlus 6 device has been leaked by a tipster, who also happens to be the one to provide accurate pricing details of the OnePlus 5, last year, weeks before the smartphone was officially launched.

According to True-Tech.net, the website which accurately revealed the OnePlus 5 price in India before its launch, the upcoming and highly anticipated OnePlus 6 will be priced at Rs. 36,999 in India for the 64GB storage variant, while the 128GB version of the OnePlus 6 will be priced at Rs. 39,999. That being said, it still remains uncertain whether OnePlus will be pairing 6GB RAM or 8GB RAM with the 64GB inbuilt storage variant, although it is highly likely to stick with 8GB of RAM for the higher-end 128GB and 256GB storage options.

On the other hand, while a 256GB storage variant was confirmed to be arriving this year by the company itself, the report by True-Tech.net still doesn’t have much clarity about the same as it states that they are still unclear as to whether OnePlus 6’s 256GB storage version will be launched alongside the 64GB as well as 128GB variants, or it will be launched later in the year as the OnePlus 6T.

OnePlus 6 is already confirmed to come with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with Adreno 630 GPU, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The smartphone is expected to sport a 6.2-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display having 19:9 aspect ratio and a notch, which will have an option to hide itself and offer 90 percent screen-to-body ratio. Apart from that, the OnePlus 6 will surely run Android Oreo (8.1) with Oxygen OS 5.1.0 on top and will be retaining the 3.5 mm audio jack.

Coming to optics, the OnePlus 6 is rumored to come with a 16-megapixel primary rear camera coupled with a 20-megapixel secondary sensor with both sensors offering f/1.7 aperture, while the front-facing camera is said to feature a 20-megapixel sensor offering f/1.7 aperture. On the other hand, while the device could be backed by a 3450mAh battery with fast charging support, it will also come with either IP67 or IP68 water and dust resistance rating, making OnePlus 6 the first water resistant smartphone from the company. Other features include an updated slider with ‘slide to focus’ functionality and a glass back with five layers of Nanotech Coating.
