Nokia 7.1 has finally been launched in India after being unveiled weeks ago by HMD Global and while the Nokia 7.1 India launch comes on the heels of the expected unveiling of Nokia 8.1 in the country, the budget smartphone is one of the most premium budget offering in the segment. The biggest highlights of the Nokia 7.1 includes 5.84-inch FHD+ 19:9 PureDisplay with HDR support, dual rear camera with ZEISS optics, a long lasting battery backup and more.
It is worth noting that the Nokia 7.1 will be competing against the likes of the Xiaomi Poco F1, Honor Play and Vivo V11 Pro in India, however, with features such as stick Android, 80 per cent screen-to-body ratio SD to HDR real-time conversion and more, it is touted to be one of the best handsets ever launched by HMD Global in the segment since obtaining the rights to sell phones under the Nokia branding.
The screen panel is being called as PureDisplay since the Nokia 7.1 comes with HDR10 support; 1 million: 1 dynamic contrast ratio as well as the capability of 500-million pixels being processed per second which offers smooth and accurate HDR video. Moreover, the 5.84-inch FHD+ 19:9 PureDisplay can also adapt to bright as well as indoor conditions, automatically.

The Nokia 7.1 will be available in Gloss Midnight Blue and Gloss Steel colour options while it is priced at Rs. 19,999 in India. The smartphone will be available through leading mobile retailers across the country as well as on Nokia.com/phones starting from 7th December, 2018.
As for the launch offers on Nokia 7.1, Airtel prepaid users will get 1TB of additional 4G data on prepaid plans starting Rs. 199 while Airtel postpaid users will be able to avail an additional 120GB of data as well as three months of free Netflix subscription along with one year of free Amazon Prime subscription on postpaid plans starting at Rs. 499. On the other hand, Nokia 7.1 buyers will also get 10 per cent cashback on purchases made through HDFC Bank Credit and Debit cards via the EMI option.
