Nokia 6.1 Plus has been launched in India as HMD Global’s first offering under the Nokia brand to come with a display notch. Apart from that, the Nokia 6.1 Plus also marks the beginning of a new design theme for Nokia smartphones. The Nokia 6.1 Plus, which runs stock Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box, comes with a glossy metallic back and other highlights of the device includes dual rear cameras, a selfie-centric front camera, dependable hardware and more.
For the unknown, the Nokia 6.1 Plus is a refurbished version of the Nokia X6 which was launched in China earlier and will be sold as the Nokia 6.1 Plus in global markets. The biggest highlight of the Nokia 6.1 Plus is said to be the perfect combination of power with efficiency while it will compete against the likes of Xiaomi Mi A2 and Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1, both of which comes with stock Android OS.
The Nokia 6.1 Plus comes bundled with a host of AI-backed features such as AI portrait and scene recognition technology for the dual rear cameras and AI selfies feature with background blur, stickers as well as face unlock for the front camera.

The Nokia 6.1 Plus will be made available in Gloss Midnight Blue, Gloss Black, and Gloss White colour options while the Nokia 6.1 Plus price in India is Rs. 15,999. It will be available in only the 4GB RAM/64GB storage version and will be exclusive to Flipkart India as well as Nokia.com/phones. The device will go on sale from August 30, 2018, in India while pre-orders for the Nokia 6.1 Plus starts from August 21.
