Infinix Note 5 smartphone with Android One has been launched in India and while it the company’s first smartphone which is based on Google’s Android One platform, it also means that the device will run stock Android OS out of the box and will get faster software updates as compared to other smartphones. On the other hand, the Infinix Note 5 also comes with a host of premium features such as AI-backed cameras, Full HD display and a huge battery backup with fast charging.
The biggest highlight of the Infinix Note 5, apart from Android One, is the artificial intelligence (AI) backed Auto Scene Detection for the camera and AI power management for more efficiency. All this, coupled with a starting price under the Rs. 10,000 mark, makes the Infinix Note 5 a perfect competitor to the likes of the Xiaomi Redmi Y2 and Honor 9 Lite in the Indian budget smartphone segment.
On the other hand, the Infinix Note 5 also offers a dedicated microSD card slot along with dual SIM functionality which means that users won’t have to compromise on an extra cellular connection in order to use the expandable storage feature of the smartphones. Moreover, the rear camera module offers AI-backed portrait mode for bokeh shots while the front camera comes with AI beautify feature along with the functionality to map up to 255 facial points for portrait shots, even under low lighting conditions.
