Huawei Nova 4 has gone official as the company’s first smartphone to feature the front camera hole which can also be termed as the in-display camera technology. On the other hand, Huawei recently confirmed that it will soon be launching a new smartphone with a 48MP rear camera sensor but little did we know that it was going to the Huawei Nova 4. Moreover, the launch of Huawei Nova 4 comes soon after Samsung announced its Galaxy A8s with Infinity-O display.
While the Huawei Nova 4 comes with a 3D hyperboloid glass body coupled with a gradient finish, it has been launched in two versions where one comes with a 20MP rear camera instead of the 48MP sensor. Other features of the Huawei Nova 4 include a 6.3-inch FHD+ full-screen display with curved glass and a 4.5 mm hole at the top left corner to house the 3.05 mm 25-megapixel front camera. The cutout also houses a 0.85 mm micro-seam earpiece while the display offers 86.3 per cent of screen-to-body ratio.
It should be noted that the Huawei Nova 4 is the successor to the Nova 3-series which was launched earlier this year. Moreover, the smartphone comes with a host of AI-based features for the camera such as AI Beauty while the rear camera module has been upgraded from the Nova 3 and comes with triple sensors.
As for performance, the Huawei Nova 4 is powered by the Huawei Kirin 970 processor which was the flagship processor for the company, a couple of months back. Also, the i7 co-processor, NPU and GPU Turbo have been added to the whole performance package for better optimisation of the chipset. Along with that, you get some of the in-demand features such as a fingerprint scanner, face unlock, dual 4G VoLTE, fast charging and more.
