Meet this young Indian Women who solved the 70-year old mathematics problem called Zariski Cancellation Conjecture. She is definitely a maths mastermind, an INSA award recipient Neena Gupta has completed her Ph.D. with the moral support and encouragement given by her father and husband.

Neena Gupta, she could have stayed abroad as there were ample opportunities; however she chose to stay in India. She is working as a full-time faculty at the Indian Statistical Institute; she loves to find research questions in commutative algebra and affine algebraic geometry i.e. the study of rings in algebraic number theory.
