Milind Soman is not just an Ironman anymore, he decided to take it up a notch and went on to become ‘The Ultraman’.
When we talk about Milind Soman, everyone automatically starts thinking of him as the man who runs for some 100 odd *freaking* kilometres and this title is again a proof of that.
The Ultraman is considered to be one of the toughest and worst marathons in the world. Only super humans, just like Milind, with extreme love and dedication for marathons can achieve and complete this marathon which is suppose to go on for 3 days.
Day 1 consists of 10 km of swimming and 142 km of cycling
Day 2 consists of 276 km of cycling, followed by Day 3 which subsists of an 84-kilometer run.
All this is done, completed and mastered by Milind and we don’t even know how something like this can even be possible. After the marathon, he celebrated his achievement, as always, with his mother who he has called on to be his constant support system in life.
Apart from Milind, four more Indians went on to complete this Ultramarathon. Kaustubh Radkar, Manmadh Rebba, Abhishek Mishra and Prithviraj Patil, participated in the marathon along with Milind.
He described his entire journey in a Facebook post, which you can check out here.
