Watch How Mumbai Indians Clinched The Trophy Of IPL Second Time.

On 24 May 2015, the final match of IPL season 8 Mumbai Indians Vs Chennai Super Kings. Chennai had already won the title for 2 times and Mumbai was fighting to win the second title. The final match started and Chennai won the toss and elected to bowl first. The two-time champions decided to chase the score of Mumbai. Now the pressure was on Mumbai as they had to make a tough score to chase for Chennai Super Kings.

Mumbai Indians lost a wicket in the first over of the game but Rohit Sharma came and he played an amazing innings of 50 run off 26 balls. Lendl Simmons stroked 68 runs off 45 balls. The partnership of the duo worked as a miracle for Mumbai Indians and the undisciplined fielding of Chennai Super Kings gave Mumbai a fair chance to change the game completely. After losing 5 wickets Mumbai made a total score of 202 runs and gave Chennai Super Kings a good enough score to beat.

Chennai Super Kings came to bat but Mitchell McClenaghan’s fortune was working a little too good. Despite Dwayne Smith and Suresh Raina played well, most of the other batsmen failed to perform. Mumbai Indians were leaving no stone unturned in order to win the match.

Chennai Super Kings were trying their best to win but it was Mumbai Indians whose Luck was brighter and with the amazing display of batting and bowling they stopped Chennai on 161 runs with the loss of 8 wickets and finally won the IPL season 8.
