IPL 2021 was only over recently, if you come to think of it that now talks have already gained momentum regarding the next edition of India’s favourite league-based T20 cricket series!
And why not? What does IPL lag in anyway? What does it not have that the other cricket series’ provide the obsessed sporting fan?
Here’s the truth that if read correctly minus hardcore and needless judgement will explain the reason as to why IPL 2022 is already being much talked about!
IPL is actually, if you come to truly think of it, more than just bland big-hitting T20 cricket; it’s an association between the fan and the talent. The IPL is an extension of the madness, passion and boundless love we all have about a sport we can’t think about. Except it is louder, bolder and exemplified by a great desire to take one’s talent to the global stage.
At any given point in time, if there were such a thing as the needless hype surrounding the IPL, then international players of repute would never have gotten associated with the series that has simply redefined the T20 cricket space.
True fans may still look for that day when an India will entertain Pakistani players in its IPL contests and the same could be said about PSL in Pakistan. Although, truth also is that given the massive (or soaring) popularity, it’s hard to decode whether Indians or Pakistanis would have found out time to participate in each others’ cricket leagues.
But still, there’s this admissible magnetic pull that the IPL contends with. It’s pure. It’s exciting. It’s pure exciting fun based on cricket.
