Virender Sehwag, at this point in time, can be described as this big Twitter celebrity who has his way with wit and puns. He is loved by many and even he loves to congratulate people on their successes and birthdays. I mean, we all simply just wait for Sehwag’s Twitter wishes to his friends that are extremely funny to simple be counted as wishes, they are proper jokes.
He has always been on the forefront to congratulate and morally support his fellow athletes in the country. So, when the Indian Women Cricket Team won the Qualifier in Women’s World Cup, his tweet was bound to come.
To this, the Indian Women Cricket Team stand-in captain Harmanpreet Kaur, who completed the match by pulling out a Dhoni i.e. a six on the last ball, replied back to the former cricketer. She tweeted and called Sehwag as her ‘idol’.
Sehwag replied to her and called her an inspiration for the coming generations of women cricket.
This small yet meaningful conversation between the two icons of Indian Cricket is simply amazing. Sehwag knows how to increase the moral support of cricketers as well as congratulate them on their performances.
