Virat Kohli Asked To Make Delhi Smog Free After Two Matches Have Been Cancelled!!

Virat Kohli, the Indian test skipper has recently celebrated his birthday on 28th October and despite he is super busy practising for India’s five-match Test series against England which starts tomorrow, the pollution hazard that has been affecting Delhi from last week , has not been escaped his mind.

Virat is in full swing and he looks forward to dominate in the upcoming five-match Test series but despite all that he couldn’t help but notices how dense smog in Delhi has disrupted everyone’s life. The national capital’s air is polluted than ever because of the Diwali celebrations, burning of crops in neighbouring states and an everyday number of vehicles on the roads. Due to the smog, the schools have been shut down and people are facing breathing problem as well as getting their eyes infected.

The effect of this smog has been seen in the sports world as well, two cricket matches have already been cancelled. The Ranji Trophy match which was scheduled to be held at the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium between Gujarat and Bengal, and the match between Haryana and Tripura which was to be held at the Karnail Singh stadium have been cancelled due to the severe problem of the smog.

Virat may have become an undisputed part of Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL but his concern for his Hometown Delhi remains intact and it urged the Indian skipper to plea for a pollution free Delhi.

He took twitter to ask Delhi people to not to destroy nature as well as their future and he also advised them to be more aware and do their bit. Virat making such humble request may inspire his fans to follow his words.
