Shane Warne, Kevin Pietersen and Michael Slater were enjoying themselves after the third day’s session of the Hobart Test and the trio went for a drive after a hectic commentary schedule.
It’s still unclear that who came up with the idea of posting a video on Shane Warne’s Facebook page but, whoever was behind this, will definitely be regretting his idea. The trio was shooting the video while travelling and they were foolish enough to do this without buckling up, However, halfway through the video, they realised their mistake and put on the seat belt.
After posting the video, some fans pointed out the flaw and criticised these legend players for deteriorating the youth, who mark these cricketers as their idols and also reported the incident to police.
In the four-minute video, Shane Warne, Michael Slater and England’s Pietersen were traveling in a van and two other cricketers were accompanying them namely, former Australia captain Mark Taylor and Ian Healy. All of them are a part of Australia’s Channel Nine’s cricket commentary team.
However, Mark Taylor and Ian Healy were mature enough to follow the traffic rules and the other three were fined $ 300 each. Moreover, the infringement notices were sent to their addresses and it must have stunned them.
