Chennai Super Kings was one of the best teams in the IPL since the inception of the tournament, with die-hard fans constantly praying for team’s success. Their praying resulted in something solid and CSK, under the guidance of MS Dhoni, indeed took home the winning trophy two times.
Now, after two whole years, the team is uniting again and returning with ever-excited fans for the league after their ban.
CSK, in order to cash in more fans from down south, decided to create a parody video of Rajinikanth’s newest movie, Kaala. Starring Harbhajan, Vijay, Dwayne Bravo and of course, MS Dhoni, the video is crazy even with its patchy editing. It begins with Harbhajan Singh saying “Kaala, Kaisa naam hai yeh?” and ends with MS Dhoni saying “Kya rey, Setting ah?”, the most popular line from the teaser.
Rajinikanth can be spotted in various parts with his slow-mo walk and action sequences, looking like the star that he always is.
CSK is indeed doing everything to woo the original fans of the team in order to have a strong fan-base prior the commencement of the tournament.
As for Rajinikanth’s Kaala, the movie is produced by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films and Lyca Productions. Apart from the King of Cinema, Kaala also has Nana Patekar, Huma Qureshi and Pankaj Tripathi and others.The music has been scored by Santhosh Narayan. Directed by Pa Ranjith, Kaala is all set to release on April 27th, 2018.
