However, MS Dhoni is one of the greatest players when it comes to on-field presence and we got to witness one such moment yesterday during the RPS vs KXIP clash.
Kings XI Punjab somehow managed to rise from the dead and was giving a run for their money to every of its opposition, needing to win every match in order to reach the play-offs. However, the team’s last challenge was to face Rising Pune Supergiants and loss here could have brought danger to Steven Smith’s men.
But the whole KXIP’s batting lineup tumbled down like petals against the bowling attack of Rising Pune Supergiants and managed to score just 73 runs before getting all-out. It was an easy chase for the hosts and they rightly so, entered the IPL 2017 Play-offs, ending Punjab’s dream then and there.
While many will remember this IPL 2017 game for the dominance of RPS bowlers and some of the best on-field efforts, there was a moment that every MS Dhoni fan will cherish for all his life and will also talk about whenever he/she meets an MS Dhoni hater.

While people are criticising his match finishing capabilities that made him one of the best finisher ever, no one can doubt his presence of mind and work behind the stumps. As for Rising Pune Supergiants, he will go against Mumbai Indians on 16th May for the first qualifier and it is expected to be one of the most thrilling clashes ever as both teams are playing at their prime.
