We may not have bagged a medal in Olympics yet, (Although we are wishing for all the sports contenders) but from the other part of the sports world, we have got the biggest news.
The Cricket Team of India is now on the top spot in the ICC Test Rankings. After Sri Lanka defeated former number one side Australia on Wednesday in a 3 match series, Indian Cricket Team is now the new number one side.
Indian test Cricket team is currently playing test series in West Indies and tomorrow is the fourth and last match of the series. Although India already won the series with 2-0 but as the best Cricket Team in test matches, it will have to look to maintain the number one spot in the rankings and win the fourth test match against West Indies in Port of Spain.
India was on the top spot of the Test Ranking in January 2016 last time, then England defeated South Africa with a clean sweep of 2-0 which made the way for Indian Cricket Team. If the men in blue do not want to make this ranking a short-lived dream they will have to come in the action and smash West Indies in the 4th test.
