Faiz Yakub Fazal (born 7 September 1985) has made debut in 3rd ODI in ongoing series against Zimbabwe and become the 214th cap holder for Indian Cricket Team in ODIs. He is the 4th debutant in this series for Indian Cricket Team, other three are Yuzvendra Chahal, KL Rahul and Karun Nair.  

Faiz Yakub Fazal, a left handed opening batsman and Right-arm medium bowler, plays for  Vidarbha cricket team and recently scored a century in List A cricket match. He has also played for Central Zone – India, Railways, Rajasthan Royals, India Red and Under-19s.

Fazal is a passionate cricketer and has played some match-winning knocks at domestic level. He has scored a ton off just 112 balls for team India A in the final against team India B and played blistering innings of 127 runs in 2015–16 Irani Cup final while a successful run chase of 480 against Mumbai.

Fazal played his first ODI for Indian Cricket Team today and his blazing innings of 55 runs 61 balls led India to a glorious victory. He may not scored a ton as KL Rahul but he made his debut memorable with his extraordinary performance.
