England crushed Pakistan and scripted history in One Day International. They defeated Pakistan in the third ODI with 165 runs at the Trent Bridge Nottingham On Tuesday. This was the most improved ODI since the world cup 2015 in which England posted a huge total of 444 runs with the loss of three wickets and it is now the highest total ever made in ODI format. England did not stop as they crushed Pakistan by stopping them on just 275 runs.
With this whooping win the Eoin Morgan lead team won the series by 3-0. England opener Alex Hales smashed the bowling attack of Pakistan and made an impeccable score of 171 runs. Hales’ score is now highest ODI score by an English batsman. Other batsmen like, Jos Buttler, Joe Root, and captain Morgan played well and helped their team to post a record breaking total.
From the start of Pakistan’s innings it was never in the game as they started off poorly and if we leave their opener and No.11, no other batsmen of their team posted even close to 50. England’s record breaking performance created pressure on them from the beginning and they lost the match miserably.
The english team’s performance was so impressive that it caught eyes of almost everyone in the world and twitterati went gaga over this.
