Dhoni, Kohli And Rahane Did Something That Will Inspire You To Follow Their Footprints!!

MS Dhoni, Ajinkya Rahane and Virat Kohli, these three are the prominent names of Indian cricket. They have thrashed many records on the field and now with a new campaign strategy on Star Plus, they are breaking the existing stereotypes and orthodoxy of the society.

Star Plus has launched a new ad campaign, that aims at gender equality and is focuses on bringing to the fore the key roles that women play in everyone’s life.  MS Dhoni, Ajinkya Rahane and Virat Kohli joined in to show their love for their mothers and promote this idea. They have changed their names on the jersey from their father’s surname to mother’s name and it sends out a powerful message.

The first Ad features limited over captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni where he is wearing Devki written on his back rather than his usual surname, to this, a journalist asks him an unusual question and his reply is epic.

The second ad features Virat and he had lost his father at a very young age and watching him define, how his mother has been the  driving force behind him will melt your heart. His statements prove that  the support and sacrifices of his mother made him ‘The Run Machine Of India’.

Ajinkya Rahane, on the other hand, gives a different emotional touch to the Ad as he explains why ‘making her mother proud is as equal as making his father proud’ is important to him.

The new campaign by Star is definitely an eye opener for the society and it is trying to imbibe ‘#nayisoch‘ on our minds.
