Queen Parks in Port of Spain witnessed an amazing display of batting by Black Caps batsman Colin Munro as he smashed the first century of this season’s Caribbean Premier League. Munro became the first overseas player to hit a 100 in CPL’s four-year history.
Trinbago Knight Riders had a disappointing start as they lost their openers Brendon McCullum and Hashim Amla early but Munro increased the chances of Trinbago singlehandedly. Though wickets on the other side of the pitch kept falling but Munro’s unbeaten hundred off 65 balls kept his team’s head high.

Munro smashed seven four and six sixes in his innings for his team and Trinbago made a modest 162-5 but were unable to claim victory as Amazon Warriors won the match by six wickets. Chris Lynn 77 and Martin Guptill 25 off 22 balls led Amazon Warriors to a glorious six wickets win over Trinbago.
