Jeff Bezos Is Set To Convert An Erstwhile Washington Museum Into A Raving Party Pad

In America, all roads often lead to Washington. And now, keeping politics aside, all roads of opulence will meet grandeur in Washington.

Amazon has made life simpler for worldwide shoppers. It’s a luxury of being able to save time and not stepping out, isn’t it? But what about it’s own boss? How has his life been? Jeff Bezos is a name that attracts attention from all corners- tech industry and media. And boy, he surely knows how to party and bring the house down. Had that not been the case, he wouldn’t have put all his energies into a major renovation project.

In case you were wondering what is keeping the mild-mannered Jeff Bezos busy, then it’s something that might give you party goals. Formerly a museum worth $23 million and now to be a plush mansion, Jeff Bezos is developing his own new property what was formerly a textile museum.

And what it includes can give any millionaire’s hub a run for it’s money. Purchased about 2 years ago for a huge sum, enough to buy around 4 yachts, Jeff Bezos has spent a further $12 million to expand the Washington-based property. Even as it may not be seem like one- upon completion, Jeff Bezos’ house will be a chateau of luxury. Once the project is completed, it shall include an entire paraphernalia of recreation and comfort that can host mind-boggling parties, sprawling luncheons and dinners and whatnot.

It is believed that the museum Jeff Bezos is busy having renovated and re-planned shall include- 25 bathrooms, 11 bedrooms, 5 staircases, 5 living rooms, 3 kitchens, 2 libraries, 2 workout rooms, 2 elevators, a walk-in wine room and a huge ballroom for parties.

But it’s not that the property currently being renovated will only be used for recreation alone. In one of the buildings, Jeff Bezos and his family shall be moving in shortly, it is reported. The business magnate will reside in the Pope house, one of the buildings and the Wood house is where he will entertain his guests and friends. It is interesting that how a giant specimen of history can be so adeptly modernised. The two buildings- part of the textile museum- stand in Washington since the 20th century. And they also carry an imprint of a bit of design-history. The person who designed the revered Thomas Jefferson Memorial is also said to have designed “The Pope House”.

Armed with the luxurious escapade of having a whiskey cellar together with a walk-in wine room at the same floor, Jeff Bezos has given adequate attention to giving the infrastructure a boozy feeler. The wood house, for it’s part, will include everything that caters to working up an appetite including a grilling area. With such a feisty arrangement at the core, one simply wonders how might this den of opulence turnout for real- when the plans are in fact so engaging?
