How To Increase And Improve Your Memory Power?

Brain, a complex organ in the vertebrate’s body, some 15-33 billion neurons act as carrier which communicates and carry the signal. Too tough right, to understand the functioning of our brain in simple language it is our biological CPU (central processing unit), different from the mechanical one, yes basic processing of information, storage and access to information is similar. These days, we complain a lot about our poor memory, thanks to Smartphones, we don’t even remember the birthday of our loved ones. Our creation is hampering our natural power. So, should we just welcome the Alzheimer disease without making any efforts? Or should we take steps to increase our memory power. Why we call few people smart, why are in a state of utter surprise when someone eloquently expresses facts and figures? Is good memory a god gift? Well, entirely we can’t give credit to god, god bestowed every adult with around 3 pounds of brain. If we will not use it, then it is no fault of our creator. Although no one can actually teach us to ‘use’ brain, we can surely help to enhance your memory power.

Brain is not a muscle, it has its own power, brain do the thinking and ordering, so to unleash the power of brain you need to keep it going.

Exercise, sweat a lot, it will help with the supply of oxygen to your brain effectively. Move every day as it will boost up blood circulation.

Read, Repeat and Repeat:  You have read something with focus, it will store in the memory, however, the repetition of that information after a gap of two days, then seven days and finally a revision on the 15th day will help you in retaining information for a long time. Afterwards, within a month, do a quick revision. The information will be stored in the mind forever.

Figuratively turn into a teacher, whatever you learn, teach it to someone else. Or make a group and choose your topics and explain it to the whole group. For instance, take a math sum, solve it and teach the methodology to your peers.

Reduce Stress: Yes, it hampers your life, your physical health and it do affect proper functioning of your brain.  Do meditation for at least ten minutes to relax your brain. Give it a break, please!

Feed your brain with nutrients: We all know junk is bad, but who is going to listen? Well buckle up, if you want to enhance your brainpower. Nutrients enrich diet will make sure that your brain functions well. One-fifth of the energy is utilized by our brain, so the source of energy should be healthy.

Visual Strategy will Boost your retaining power. Visualizing concepts and things will encourage the brain to retain the information.

Sleep: Even insomniac needs few hours of sleep. Our brain need recharge, and sleep will strengthen the long term memory bank.

Excessive usage of technology is also bad, So snatch away few minutes and hours from 24*7 of constant technology use. Just do not read and forget the above steps, try to incorporate these attributes in your life. You will notice the improvement in your memory. Enter into the world of good health and give your brain the due eminence.
