  • Try different homemade solutions for curing the dry skin
There are many things that you can do in order to eliminate dry and flaky skin. Using honey on your face is one of the best examples. Honey helps in hydrating your skin, so massage honey onto face and let it sit on for about 20-40 minutes and then wash it off with lukewarm water. Try using olive oil after the honey session of yours, as it helps in locking moisture into your skin.

2. Never Skip SPF.

Just because the sun isn’t too harsh in winter does not mean that you would skip sunscreen in this season. SPF is a gift to humankind as it protects our skin from harmful UV rays and keeps us looking younger. So, why will you not want to use it for every single day of your life? Give your skin the care and protection that it demands and needs.

While hot baths and showers are some of the best things that one can have in winters, always try to limit the temperature of these baths. While hot water relaxes your body it also has the ability to turn your skin flaky. Try to moderate the temperature of the water, and always moisturise the minute you got out of the shower.

5. Hydrate Yourself From the Inside.

While moisturisers and creams are an essential part of your winter regime, you should always remember that water is also one of them. Drinking water after regular interval of time can do magic to your skin and your body. Drinking hot teas, that are high in antioxidants is also a great idea as they keep your body warm and at the same time, work their magic.
