We all have, at some point or the other, hated mornings and the feeling to get out of our beds. While some have it more often than not, there’s a fair chance that one would want to commerce their morning waking up hours for a few more minutes of sleep. But, there’s this one thing that everyone would agree with me on.

There’s nothing as fulfilling as a refreshing morning. We all might have come across a day or two where we woke up and were feeling refreshed, what follows that is an amazing day where you’re active and on your feet, all the time.

I don’t know about you, but I just love days like these. And, in order to achieve days like these, we need a solid and highly functional morning routine. A perfect morning routine can completely change your life. Here are the 6 steps that you can add to your daily routine and have one freaking amazing and refreshing day.

1. Attract What You Want

We all have read and know about the ever famous ‘Law of Attraction’ which states that whatever you need or want, put it out in Universe and it will happen. So, as soon as you wake up, try to think about all the things that you want in your life and put it out in the Universe, while it may take time, it would definitely happen.

2. Drink Water

Drinking cold water on an empty stomach has too many benefits to simply avoid. Chugging a glass or two of cold water would immediately make you feel awake and refresh you. It also helps in kick starting your metabolism for the day.

3. Exercise

Exercising is the best way to have a fulfilling morning and an entire day. You can hit the gym or go for some laps in the swimming pool or even take a Zumba class, anything like this would boost your energy level for the entire day.

4. Take Shower

After some 1 hour of exercise, you need to take a shower which almost acts as a farewell to all the germs that have gathered on your body. After all, you won’t want all the sweat and germs to stick on you all day.

5. To-Do List

Try to make it a habit of creating a to-do list every day where you jot down all the work that you need to do on a day. You can either write them down in your designated diary or maintain a folder on your phone, whatever sails your boat. This would help you in having a clear idea of what you need to do in a day.

6. Have a filling breakfast

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day which should not be skipped at any point. After almost 8 hours of sleep, our body demands something healthy and filling in the morning, don’t just treat it with a coffee and biscuit. While high calories breakfast, such as parathas are a popular choice in the Indian household, try to move towards much more healthy options. Cereals, oats or even acai bowls and smoothies are some of the great things to have in the morning.

All of these things would help you in having a refreshing morning where you won’t be tired or sleepy all day. Along with optimum concentration at work or in school, one also gets to have the energy to do whatever they want. Remember, a great day starts with a great morning and investing your morning hours in these steps would emphatically help you in achieving one.
