“Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up, it knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed. Every morning in Africa, a lion wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve. It doesn’t matter whether you’re the lion or a gazelle-when the sun comes up, you’d better be running.”
Our life has also become like a gazelle and in the ‘jungle world’ we all running for materialistic love. We want to achieve success in monetary term in jiffy. We have to stay productive to stay in the race of survival. We need constant motivation to stay ahead in life.
The theory ‘Survival Of The Fittest’ of Darwin has become an integral part of world’s working machinery.
We have become puppets of technology and we have confined ourselves in virtual world. However, reality come across us like a ‘bolt from the blue’ in certain situations and we get depressed. We are humans and our lives revolve around emotions and feelings. We all face some tough situations in life and there are times when the ‘going gets tough’ and we then face dilemma of ‘what to do and what not to do”. Another quality of ours is procrastination. We all live in vicious circle of life where we accumulate stuff ‘to-do’ for later and pile on stress for ourselves.
Stress and depression has found common place in our lexicon. Stress has become a modern flu. No one can escape from it. However, our life has to go on and move on. In today’s time one has to be productive, there is no alternative to it. To be productive we need motivation to keep us alive. We have to remind ourselves that we are responsible for our self, and life is a precious gift. So, to lit the flame of motivation and to make you productive we have selected few ways to keep you going.
Perseverance: Whatever you do, perseverance is the key to success. It will assist you to excel in life. It will push you to attain mastery. There is huge gap between the ratio of success and failure, and the secret behind successful people is they choose to stick to their dreams and beliefs.
Practice, Practice and Practice: Only Practice makes a man perfect. We need to make sure, we excel in what we do and to attain the quality and accelerate in work we need to practice a lot. We can’t forget the great saying of Bruce Lee, which reminds us why practice holds prominent place.
We humans are perfect; we tend to achieve perfection through our work and activities. To attain perfection we must not be scared to make mistakes, as only after making them, we can rectify it which will yield the desired results. We have one thing different from other species i.e. our spirit, it can make us to move and walk on any path. We should not take failure to our heart. Failing and making mistakes can lead us to achieve the unexplored and to attain what is unattainable. Remember what Edison said,
If we will not make errors, then either we are dead or we are not living. Failing in life is necessary, as it will give the value to our winning. These days’ people can’t accept failures and takes drastic measures which is not a happy sign in a civilized society. If failures comes that doesn’t mean that we have to torture ourselves. We just need to remember this:
However, we should not repeat the same mistakes, as getting habitual of making mistakes is not recommended.
Most crucial point to stay productive in long term and stay motivated is to take care of your health. If you want to live your life to fullest then staying healthy is the path. Apart from keeping your heart young it will also put an end to all your worries.
Exercise is the step we need to take to excel in life. We all have heard this saying from childhood that health is wealth, however, we are well aware of the number of people in our lives including us, who follow this mantra. Exercise is a way to keep optimism alive; it will boost your confidence level, and how exercise can do it all. There is a simple logic behind it; it increases oxygen level in your blood. Increased level of oxygen in blood will assist you in keeping diseases at bay, especially heart diseases and type-2 diabetes. If you are in war with diseases then exercise will be your sword. Even Tom Hanks vouch for that he said “I have high blood sugars, and Type 2 diabetes is not going to kill me. But I just have to eat right, and exercise, and lose weight, and watch what I eat, and I will be fine for the rest of my life.”
Your mind and body both need exercise to perform at optimum level.
Well, now buckle up your thoughts and push yourself a little bit to excel in life. Remember “When the going gets tough, the tough get going”
Your success is in your own hand, you got ‘a dream’ go ahead and achieve it. Hope the great minds will inspire you and their words will guide you in achieving your success.
