The gut affects our health much more than it was known until a few years ago. The intestinal mucosa with its special flora which consists of trillions of microorganisms, largely determines the condition of our immune system ultimately determining whether there is a risk of chronic inflammation, acne, autoimmune diseases, and also overweight. But even though these relationships have now been proven, nutrition, which is the most important influencing factor for intestinal health, has hardly changed.

We know how important the intestine is, but we still don’t pay attention to it. Most of us still eat too much meat, sugar, fat, fast food, and ready meals, and also consume intestinal enemies, smoking, and alcohol.

The direct consequence of a bad diet is that the intestinal flora tilts out of its balance and problems like flatulence, constipation and obesity arise. The indirect effects include Immune weakness, skin problems, inflammation, and an increased risk of colon cancer.

If the food remains in the intestine for a long time, it is especially harmful to health. Toxins are formed primarily from animal protein like meat residues, which can cause damage not only in the intestine but throughout the body. The medical term for this poisoning is intestinal auto-intoxication. Typical toxins that arise in the intestine are neurin, putrescine, indican, and cadaverine.

A mild intestinal regeneration cure with the right nutrition, so that the intestinal flora can recover naturally, is therefore recommended, as a kind of wellness for the intestine. A proper diet for a week can do a lot. In principle, there are only two things you should consider:

1. In the beginning, there is colon cleansing. It often takes several days for the remnants to be excreted after a meal. This can be supported by psyllium husk. These natural measures have a gentle laxative effect.

Mild cleaning is complemented by light fasting. Both measures work together like a Reset of the intestine, bringing it back to zero so to speak. This can be rebuilt with the right intestinally healthy diet.

2. This diet should contain probiotics including lactic acid bacteria because they can help the intestinal flora to repopulate with beneficial intestinal bacteria. It also includes high-fiber fresh food because fiber acts as prebiotics to feed the good intestinal bacteria.

On the other hand, you should avoid red meat, high-fat dairy products, sugar, alcohol, and coffee during the intestinal diet. Of course, you must drink a lot of water during the intestinal treatment because only then do the fibers swell well and can absorb the pollutants, bind them, and transport them out of the body.

You can support these measures with rice water, the insider tip for a healthy intestine. The slightly milky brew contains dissolved fiber, mucilage, minerals, and B-vitamins. This combination cares for the intestinal mucosa and supports its healthy structure.

Make rice water yourself and drink a glass in between

½ cup of organic rice

1 liter of water

Bring the water to the boil, pour the rice into it and let it simmer for a good 20 minutes until it is almost boiled. Strain while catching the water. The rice water can be stored in the refrigerator for up to three days.

Diet plan for seven days of intestinal treatment

The intestinal cure is suitable for all adults, except pregnant and lactating women. If you have chronic diseases or need to take medication regularly, you should consult your doctor before starting.

1st Day of The Intestinal Diet – Gut Cleaning Diet

Psyllium seeds have the property of also deriving pollutants, swelling strongly in the intestine, in this way stimulating the natural intestinal peristalsis and thus reducing the length of time that food remains in the intestine. The mucilages of the psyllium also take care of the intestinal mucosa.
