Inexplicable craving: The real reason behind many hunger pangs you have revealed

Almost all of us have dealt with some form of a hunger pang. A hunger pang is that feeling defined by some weirdly inexplicable desire for some food. In simple words, it could be said that a hunger pang is that craving for some special kind of food. And we’ve all experienced it and perhaps still do, every now and again. Don’t we all?

Funnily enough, hunger pangs can really slip around out of nowhere. It is like an imperfectly perfect craving that can knock on one’s doors at any kind. In a lighter vein, it could be described through a hitchhiker that one accepts on way to a journey even when he is uninvited and not needed actually. But one simply hops on the truck. You just can’t seem to get rid of him. And that’s the perplexion.

Ever faced a situation where you’ve just completed your meal, climbed onto the bed in your living room and are in midst of an HBO classic only to be reminded by your stuffed belly that you are hungry; that there’s something else perhaps- some sugary delight like a chocolate or some cashew nuts or something of that sort? It may have happened. In another site, it’s common to find yourself in the midst of a movie theatre, watching your keenly-anticipated film whilst having already had your meal, and then something happens.

Something strange and rather uninitiated. It so happens suddenly that you get a craving of a kind that’s sudden in nature. It’s like your mind is craving for something sweet and something snacky and palatable. How many times has that happened to us all?

Here’s some real reason explained behind some common cravings we all seem to have

  1. Addicted to Baguettes? The reason behind this could be a nitrogen deficiency that we have and are not even aware of. In this case, you might want to have some high-protein foods in this one.

2. Addicted to cookies and anything sweet? This could happen because your body is actually trying to tell you to up the quantity about various key lackings in the body such as chromium, carbon, phosphorous, and sulfur consumption.

Wondering how you could fulfil these deficiencies in the body? All one is needed to do is to include food items such as raw nuts, seeds and legumes along with plenty of fresh fruits to your diet.

3. Addicted to alcohol? This is a rather interesting one, actually. If you feel that craving for a little drink every now and again, then this could actually mean that your body is not subtly but alarmingly hinting you to up the ante of intake of protein, calcium and potassium. Try to include some eggs in your diets and meal and, also try to include items like soya. Do you fancy stuff like soya nuggets and vegetables? That could help majorly.

4. Addicted to chocolates and pretty much most things chocolatey?

This is a universal craving that we all have. When most girls are in their adolescent years and even among grown-up adult females too, there is always some inexplicable craving to have a chocolate or to have ice-creams of the chocolate flavour. It may actually sound slightly bizarre but the craving for this particular item is so intense that it may trigger sudden spikes in sugar. Well, this is not to mention that guys do not have this kind of a craving too. Chocolate unites us all for its sheer unbridled love.

But, that told, have you ever wondered what this might actually mean? If one has a craving for chocolates- amongst one of the commonest forms of hunger pangs that there are- then it clearly means that the body is telling you something about your magnesium levels. A clear magnesium deficiency is that there is, in case of a craving for some chocolate.

Now, the important part is in finding a way to battle this craving. How can one possibly battle a chocolate craving? You have finished your meal and retired for the day with your partner and then, it turns out that you are coaxing her or him to fetch you some good old Toblerone from the fridge in the living room. What could this be leading to, you wonder, as it happens every now and again?

Well, you need not to worry actually. Just include some fresh fruits and nuts and seeds in your intake of regular meals and soon you won’t get that chocolatey after all. At the end of the day, it’s important to ensure a balance between the sugar intake- do not have lots of it. And have it only in balanced amounts. That will do.
