Why is Tikkawala, the latest gluttonous offering at Chicago, making news?

Replete with sprawling infrastructure, tall, lanky buildings and a history bustling with urban development spanning decades, Chicago at first may seem like a delight for anyone interested in the corporate world. A beautiful skyline dominated by myriad commercial highs and developments, one of the United States’ most admired cities is also home to an impressive culinary culture.

The sunny weathers of Chicago seldom bring any dullness to one’s day. Every day here is a fantastic saga for eaters and revellers in the dynamic space of food that so implicitly occupies the popular culture of Chicago. A new offering, in this regard, is the renowned Tikkawala, a tantalising new offering in the vibrant Chicago. Food constantly plays a vital role in adjoining of multiple cultures. It is a bringer of togetherness of people from different worlds and walks of life.

And in doing the very same to Chicago, the popular Indian restaurant Tikkawala is bringing about a remarkable difference. Suckers of non-vegetarian food can find Tikkawala to be different from most others, particularly for the element of simplicity its wide-spread menu offers to true food connoisseurs. This is, in fact, for the lack of a better expression, a charming new delicacy forever craving taste buds.

In the realm of the popular food culture, it is one thing to have fantastic non-vegetarian food. It is something, quite other, to have a fine dining restaurant that can cater to the craving of taste buds. Bridging the gap between these gaping voids- the famous Tikkawala- is a restaurant with a difference. Fast-casual restaurants are mushrooming everywhere. These are the hot-word or the buzzword of the moment. They are everywhere and even, irreplaceable in the context of the current word.

Tikkawala is more than the answer or solution to the craving of utterly delectable non-vegan food. If one is craving for a fantastic chicken sandwich or stuff like masala oysters, that too at night, then this is the best possible answer. In an ever-expanding scale of a thrilling culinary culture in the city of Chicago, the lastest Indian restaurant is already making strides. For starters, it could be said that the fantastic fine-dining eatery is situated at amongst the finest possible residences in the West Loop, closest to the Whitney Young Magnet high school.

A lot about the menu is full of typical non-vegan and tikka-based charcoal delights. You realise that you are all set for a one of a kind treat when an excitable world of chicken seekh burgers and lots of scrumptious delights on offer. And in here, in midst of a heartening menu rests the answer to the famous query often posed, in particular, by intrepid eaters.

Facebook

“Is there something else in Indian-styled non-vegan food apart from it being loaded with tons of ghee and oil.”

The Tikkawala, for starters, isn’t your average joe where non-vegetarian delights are concerned. It’s not about the classic beef burgers or the chicken seekh tikka stuffed with flowing oil. The chefs at the Tikkwala are constantly trying to subvert and downplay some stereotypes that have shunned the excitement associated with eating one of its kind styles of culinary delight from India.

The effort here at Tikkwala is to present typical Indian delights atypically. Often there is so much variety and variations in Indian food that a lot of it is not even attempted to be brought to the mainstream. Instead of the food here at the Tikkawala being soiled in classic additions such as tamarind or spices, food offerings in the Chicago-bound eatery are about Indian-styled elotes, shishito peppers and, whatnot!

And that does not mean that the vegetarian food isn’t on offer here. There’s plenty of stuff for everyone. Punjabi-style north Indian food includes something special for everyone. A creation beautifully presented for avid taste buds, the Tikkawala is attempting to present the non-vegan food in a different, hitherto less-seen light. The restaurant’s driving forces are experienced talents who have delved into the F&B scene for a while.

A product of the impassioned talents of Sahil Singh and Hiran Patel, the two have been in the restaurant space of Chicago for a while, were experienced hands at Veerasway, another restaurant that was considered very popular and even ahead of its time in the bustling city.

Creative forces stop at nothing to extract the best from their flair. The same stands for painters, writers, musicians and even, chefs- the latter, being superstars of our time. So in their bid to come out with something more, something more taste-worthy, defying the two chefs- Patel and Singh (iconic surnames whatsoever)- joined forces to present a really outstanding taste for the city. And now, with Tikkawala being around, the city can have new, more avid reasons to step out of the houses to dine at the restaurant.

The recently-opened restaurant of the city calls out. So, are you in the search for some tikka? You know where to head now.
