Remember the drama about the blue/black or white/gold dresses which divided the whole world into two types of people – half who said the dress was blue/black and the other half who claimed it was white/gold? Turns out there are a third category of people who were never fooled by the background light and saw the dress for its true colour. They, it seems, have a 4th cone in their vision. These people are tetrachromats, which implies they can differentiate between various shades of all the prime colours and see them clearly as different colours.
Sorry guys, I know this sounds tough and you must be praying right now for no lady in your life to have such vision abilities.
All the girls out there would mostly be able to point out at least 10 shades of pink or red if not also for other colours. Have you ever thought what exactly is a pinkish brown called or is there a name for a yellowish green colour?
We are no experts, but for some relief we bring to you a list of the weirdest colours you may or may not have ever heard of. Check your shade cards!
