Leather shoes, belts, wallets, jackets so on and so forth accessories have been always in fashion. The World neither does understand nor does it care about the suffering and pain behind every single piece of accessory and clothing made from leather. The leather lovers care about the fashion and the articles that make them look beautiful or exclusive.
Everyone has their style statement but a recent video from PETA perfectly explains the cruelty behind these accessories and clothes. At a Bangkok mall, shoppers were drawn to exotic leather jackets, shoes, and accessories. The articles were on display at The Leather Work and what they found under these articles was something that will sweep the floor off your feet.

The ad was brilliantly conceptualized and created by Ogilvy & Mather Bangkok office for PETA. When the customers took a closer look they learned about the ugly truth about the cruelty of the exotic-skins industry. The extreme suffering animals go through to be turned into an exotic piece of leather is just heart breaking. If you are a leather product lover, show some humanity, quit leather and spread the good word.
