5 Much Needed Habits You Need To Pick Up In 2018!

Life has always been a series of surprises as well as monotony. The statement may sound contradictory but this how life is and we, the soul-bearing humans tend to make it more complicated than it already is. In recent times we have time for everything but ourselves. All we do is wobble yet we anticipate that we are trying to get through it. However, we actually don’t, we get comfortable with the circumstances we are living in, do not take decisions and try to change the way our life is and in the end crib about everything.

This pessimistic approach has ruined the reality of happiness for us and it’s time that we change this scenario. In 2018, promise yourself to do minimal things that will actually keep you happy, energetic, and optimistic.

Because, if not now then when?

1. Eat A Bowl Of Salad And Green Veggies Every Day.

Munching fast food has done enough destruction to your body already. You know it’s harmful yet you choose to let it go simply because you are too lazy to decide that you will actually not eat it. We are not suggesting that do not absolutely eat all those tasty fat-filled dishes that you love. However, if you will include a bowl of salad with green vegetables in your everyday routine, it will make your body feel healthier.

Try and make it the night meal, it will be lighter and you will wake up feeling good.

2. Have A Glass Of Lukewarm Water With Honey Every Morning.

Make it a regime, having a glass of lukewarm water infused with a spoon of honey in the morning has many benefits. Make sure you are drinking it empty stomach. It will detoxify your body, it will keep you energetic throughout the day, and it will keep you younger. At least, you deserve a better health, don’t you?

3. Take Ten Minutes Out And Talk To Yourself.

When was the last time you saw yourself smiling? We are not talking about those beautiful photographs you clicked faking a perfect smile. Talk to yourself in front of a mirror and smile while doing it. It kicks the positive hormone and keeps your mood better. Do try to do motivational talks to yourself, it will shape your approach more optimistically towards life.

4. Take Stairs Rather Than Elevators!

Even if you have to climb 5 floors, ditch elevators. We are not suggesting to climb 20th floors but up to 5 is a fair calculation. It will increase your body movement in the whole day and you will feel more fit. Track how many steps you are covering in a day, increase the count with every week. It will also make you lose weight in a long run. We use elevators even for 3 floors as we decide not to take the pain and get things done easily.

Your body needs more movement to get rid of the bloat.

5. Dance To Your Playlist Every Day!

Play your favorite songs and try out every dance step you possibly could do. Dancing is a great stress buster and it also makes your body-mind feel happier. Try out every dance genre from Punjabi to Hip Hop, and shake your legs. A little happiness every day can work wonders for you.

Let 2018 be a year of physical and mental health. Be a better version for yourself.
