10 Things Every Introvert Wants You To Know About Them

Introverts, ah. The least explored or talked about subjects in any kind of fiction written or thought of. If you ever notice, you’ll realise how in almost every movie, book, and show, introverts are always shown under two specific lights. Either they’re the best friend of a super-popular person or somehow the quiet one whose existence is romanticised by each and every person around them.

It almost seems as if people don’t want to get under the layers of an introvert or educate others about it. Or else, why there would always be a super dramatic side of an extrovert, but never of an introvert?

Maybe it’s the introverts and their decision to always stay away from the limelight, even when it’s being drawn by their own friends. There are so many things that an introvert thinks of or want to do or actually does, that many don’t have any clue about.

Today, we’ve decided to put an end to a big question, what does an introvert want from those around them? So, keep on reading and find out how deeply certain things affect your introvert friends and how they’ll never be able to truly admit it to the world.

1. Big groups don’t scare us, it’s just, we would any day prefer to have a one-on-one conversation, rather than being stuck between 8 people where no one’s voice is heard.

2. We are very keen observers, due to all the time that we save while not talking to a large group of people.

3. The thought of initiating a conversation with an unknown (or even known for that matter) terrifies us.

4. Yet, we do love meeting new people. Even when most of the time it doesn’t seem so.

5. If you’re lucky, you might catch us in one of our rare extrovert moments, which usually happen on a drunken night.

6. In fact, introverts (when drunk) are known to be some of the most fun people to be around with. We can basically make you go Woah! With every decision, we make on our drunken affair.

7. Phone calls are awkward for us, because of which we’ll always prefer to text you, instead of calling.

8. We value our personal space and at the same time, respect your boundaries.

9. All of us introverts live in the constant fear of our friends getting bored of us someday.

10. We are the best people to be around if you want someone to accompany you while being completely silent.

There’s so much more about introverts that very few know, but trust us, introverts are some of the best people to be friends with. They’ll always support and be with you, even when they don’t go on announcing the same after every second day.
