America has some pretty strict airport rules and regulations, there are multiple security checks that one has to go for before actually boarding and travelling on the flight. While all of this is done for the passenger’s safety, sometimes the whole thing can go out of hands.
One such incident occurred recently in which Angela Rye, 37, a CNN commentator was asked to go through some extensive amount of security check by the Transport Security Administration (TSA). Angela shared a video on her twitter where the women doing her security check, aggressively handled her during the process.
She tweeted the video with #TSAVaginaMonologues and wrote an opinion piece for CNN, where she explained the entire incident in detail. It was more than what we can see in the video, she tweeted about the incident one week ago and already has 11 thousand Retweets.
After the video and her incident went viral, she had a conversation with the members of TSA which resulted in some major blaming.
The US has been very alerted with their airport security, they have now started asking for details of social media from ‘select’ foreign travellers. One has to submit details of their social media accounts which Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google+ and YouTube. This move has been taken to spot potential terrorist that are travelling to the US.
