The ongoing conflict in Aleppo can no longer be called a war, it is no less than a genocide where hundreds and thousands of people have been killed till now. However, it also one of the most documented wars, which has been driven through platforms like YouTube, Facebook and Twitter, where the people are making their voices heard. But are they?
Yesterday, a lot of tweets and videos start circulating on the Internet that came from Eastern Aleppo in Syria. Many were saying their last goodbyes to the world that failed them and was not able to save their houses, their families and their lives.

There were some reports that stated that an emergency evacuation would take place in Aleppo, however, it has been delayed, again. The so-called war has already pushed eastern Aleppo on the verge of complete destruction and this video can perfectly sum up the visual situation of the city. One can, almost, not believe that people used to live in here and still do, and many of them have lost their lives in this carnage. Earlier this year a six-year-old Aleppo boy in the ambulance went viral on the Internet, and there are many more like him. While some of them were saved, there are many who are still under the debris of these buildings.

On Wednesday, Paris switched of Eiffel Tower’s light in order to show support for the people under beleaguer in Aleppo. The UN has called Aleppo’s situation as the ‘meltdown of humanity’.
And it truly is. All we can say at this point is that nothing can be solved with a war. While it may end with someone’s win over the other, it certainly results in the loss of humanity and lives of innocent in the most atrocious way possible. So, think twice before wishing for a war against the other country just to teach them a lesson.
