A Wild Fire Broke Out At London’s Iconic 19-Storey Tower, Situation Under Control!

In what can only be described as a sudden and horrible experience in one of the most famous world cities of all time, a massive fire broke out at the iconic London tower, the incident rocking the cradle of West London. The London Tower of Grenfell, nestled in West London, is a building, one must note, of no fewer than 19 storeys.

And had it not been for the timely and courageous act of the firefighters in the city then perhaps it may not be incorrect to state that things may have spiralled out of control.

As a matter of fact, the incident was no random or small occurrence. Imagine the fact that how things have panned out at the critical juncture if three of the nineteen storeys were heavily engulfed in a towering inferno?

Of the 19-storeyed building, floors 8th, 9th as well as the 10th were caught up in flames, which is when the daring firefighters of the iconic British capital dived into the scene to forge a daring act.

A more detailed reported captured some more highlights from arguably speaking, the most important story from the city of London and happened to share:

The fire in the east of the city near the Canary Wharf financial district comes almost four years after 72 people died in a fire at Grenfell Tower in West London, when the building wrapped in cladding turned an ordinary kitchen fire into an inferno.

So huge was the possible carnage out there at the scene of the Grenfell tower than no fewer than 100 firefighters had to be rushed to the scene in order to normalise the situation.

Furthermore, it is also reported that the fire broke out on Friday, i.e., May 7, 2021 before 9 am in the morning. Totally true to state then that this was an early morning shocker.

Meanwhile, here is what one of the leading newspapers from all of England The Guardian had to say on the key story that shocked the average Londoner:

The fire tore through flats over at least three storeys, trapping residents on smoke-logged balconies before 125 firefighters got the blaze under control. Smoke spread across at least six floors, video footage taken by residents showed. Two men were taken to hospital for treatment for smoke inhalation. A further 38 adults and four children were treated at the scene by crews from the London ambulance service.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government had the following to add on the ravaging incident:

We have been in regular contact with Ballymore over the last two years to make progress, including publicly naming Landor, their subsidiary, as one of the companies that has consistently failed to take action.

Thankfully, there weren’t any casualties and that things were soon normalised and brought under control. Well done to the brave Firefighters!
