Watch: Former Players and Pakistani Legends Praise Virat Kohli To The Skies

Virat Kohli has stood out as the best performer in Indian Cricket since his debut in 2008, with his match winning knocks making headlines, continuously. He is also termed as the fittest player which has drawn several comparisons with the likes of Novak Djokovic and Cristiano Ronaldo.

We all have seen his transition from a reckless player to a mature cricketing shots playing batsman and over the years, Virat Kohli has earned the title of the ‘Chase Master’. He now has the most number of hundreds in successful chases and records seem to bow down in front of him.

There is no record that Virat Kohli has not achieved at the age of 28 and cricketers from all around the world are appreciating his greatness. We don’t think that any other player has achieved this much in such a short career span and Virat Kohli’s leading by example persona found its place during a Pakistani talk show with the likes of Wasim Akram, Shoaib Akhtar and Saqlain Mushtaq being in the panel.

The legends went all praises for the new Indian Captain and his down to earth character during the show and even advised Pakistani cricketers to learn from Virat Kohli. This is not a hidden fact that Virat Kohli never compromises with his health and has one of the most strict diet plan to follow, which even shocked Saqlain Mushtaq during their meeting.

These bitter comments came at the time when Pakistan cricket is suffering from their lowest performances, seen in the recent years. After being humiliated by both New Zealand and Australia, the team now stands in the bottom five of ICC rankings in all three formats. With Champions Trophy just around the corner, they are in a big need of inspiration and motivation from their peers, just Like Wasim Akram said. However, Pakistan Cricket Team now face another challenge as they will travel to West Indies after the Australia tour.

As for Virat Kohli, the graph continues to rise and after his first ODI series as a full time captain against England, he is gearing up for his next big challenge ‘The Champions Trophy’. Newest members of the Indian Team, Kedar Jadhav and Hardik Pandya are doing great while players like MS Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh have also regained their lost form. Except for the fact that Indian team is still looking for a perfect opening player, the Virat Kohli led team looks good and we are in for a treat in 2017.
