Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a gathering at Banaras Hindu University in Varanasi on Thursday and considering the upcoming 2017 elections and the demonetization drive, his speech was expected to target opposition and defend BJP standings in the state.
This was the first time since demonetization that Narendra Modi visited Varanasi and he put the ‘good & evil’ binate to good use. Rahul Gandhi has been in Uttar Pradesh for some time now, leading Congress’ election campaign and his latest statement about Narendra Modi Bringing a political earthquake was bound to be answered.
PM Modi started with a polite welcome to the Varanasi Crowd but later on targeted all the opposition leaders in a way that only he can execute. His first target was the opposition that has been regressively misleading Indians in believing demonetization to be the biggest scam ever and he found an interesting way to answer all the accusation.
Narendra Modi said “Our army gets engaged with Pakistani army while terrorists get a chance to sneak in, and this what opposition is doing against demonetization”.

He also added, ex Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has been in the core economic planning team since the 70’s and bears a clean image among the voters. However, during his tenure he didn’t do anything but scandals still happened. Singh let his party leaders use his image and now he accuses BJP for opting out a wrong strategy.
According to Manmohan Singh’s allegations, in a country where 50% population is poor, how Narendra Modi is going to take India to a cashless economy? PM Modi had all the time to answer this allegation and he backfired on the ex-PM.
He said “Manmohan Singh says that 50 % Indians are still poor and this is the fact then, Is he reading his own report card or mine?”

However, Narendra Modi saved the best stroke to answer Rahul Gandhi’s allegations of triggering a political and economic earthquake.
Narendra Modi Mockingly said that “he is learning to speak and now he showed his actual capabilities after perplexing us for so long”.

Since Narendra Modi became the Indian Prime Minister, he has mastered the art of communication and how to target someone without even saying his name. Using explicit metaphors and marking the opposition as ‘pickpockets or Pakistani Army’, PM Modi has circled the opposition.
These metaphors may sound hard but Narendra Modi has always saved himself due to unmitigated use of his statements and this will definitely puncture the bubble of allegations around him.
