New Delhi: The media reports of wrestler Dalip Singh Rana, widely knows as ‘The Great Khali’, joining the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Punjab spread on Sunday.
However, it later turned out that the wrestler has not joined the political party but extended unconditional support to Sajjan Singh Cheema, AAP candidate from Sultanpur Lodhi.
But the news of Khali joining AAP spread like a wildfire with several portals reporting the same. And social media was not an exception as people on Twitter came up with some of the funniest reactions over wrestler joining AAP in Punjab, which is due for elections next year.

Khali is best known for his stint in WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment). He became the World Heavyweight Champion in 2007.
Interestingly, Khali was an officer for the Punjab state police before becoming the professional wrestler. He also a participated in reality show Bigg Boss. Recently, he was seen in an Ambuja Cement ad.
