Do You Know About This Military Code Language? If Not, Then Learn It Now

There are many instances when, while we are communicating with someone, we often get confused between spelling out a word. Blame it on the quality of network or the distance, it is a sure shot problem we all might have faced at one point or the other. Now, imagine this entire problem between military organisations or among soldiers of different countries. You can repeat a thousand times, but they can’t.

Because of this, a unified set of alphabets has been assigned so that the entire procedure of communication could be easy for everyone out there. It is used by the military, air traffic controllers and radio operators.

This military code language is majorly known as NATO phonetic alphabets. They have been formed so that critical combination of numbers and words can be pronounced and understood with ease while transmitting voice message by telephone or radio.

Here are the alphabets, as well as some additional information related to them i.e., their evolution over the time and pronunciation.
