Here’s How PM Narendra Modi Contributed To #FitnessChallenge

Challenges are a big fad on the Internet and people continue to love, contribute and watch them endlessly. There have been quite a few challenges that have gathered a massive success on social media and among the people using them, but more often than not, these challenges adhere to something totally stupid and unnecessary. Like who can forget Condom Challenge, don’t judge me challenge and all the others.

However, quite a few weeks back, BJP MP Harshvardhan Rathore started a new challenge called #FitnessChallenge, a.k.a Hum Fit Toh India Fit, under which he urged the people to exercise and indulge in some or the other kind of physical activity in their day-to-day schedule. He tagged a few celebrities and sportsperson who later contributed to the challenge and put forth their favourite means of exercising. One of them was Virat Kohli who after completing the challenge, nominated Prime Minister Narendra Modi for it. To everyone’s surprise, PM accepted the challenge and he has posted his contribution to the trend today.

PM Modi posted a video in which he can be seen doing some exercises, yoga asanas and quite a few breathing exercises. He captioned the video, “Here are moments from my morning exercises. Apart from Yoga, I walk on a track inspired by the Panch Tatvas or 5 elements of nature – Prithvi, Jal, Agni, Vayu, Aakash. This is extremely refreshing and rejuvenating. I also practice breathing exercises. #HumFitTohIndiaFit.”

Soon people started responding to his contribution and most of them had a positive response to it all.

As per the rules of the challenge, each and everyone who does the challenge has to nominate someone else to do it and so PM Modi nominated Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy and Olympic medalist Manika Batra, and said, “I am delighted to nominate the following for the #FitnessChallenge: Karnataka’s CM Shri @hd_kumaraswamy. India’s pride and among the highest medal winners for India in the 2018 CWG, @manikabatra_TT. The entire fraternity of brave IPS officers, especially those above 40,”

In response to the challenge, Kumaraswamy sought PM Modi’s support, saying he was more concerned about the “fitness” of Karnataka. And tweeted this.
