CCTV Footage: Woman Caught Strangling Mother-In-Law In Bed, Get Arrrested After Video Goes Viral

New Delhi: In a disturbing incident, a woman has been caught on camera strangling and assaulting her mother-in-law.

In the video, the 70-years-old sick and helpless lady is seen cowering in bed as she is treated continuously with slaps, kicks and stones and choked with cloth noose by her heartless daughter-in- law.

The incident took place in Bijnor, UP when both the women were at their home alone.

The daughter-in-law, Sangeeta Jain, get caught after old woman’s son Sandeep Jain installed a CCTV camera to expose the evil intentions of her wife.

Activist Kundan Srivastava posted this video of the horrifying incidence on his FB page. He urged the CM Akhilesh Yadav to intervene and take action against the woman named Sangeeta Jain.

Soon after, the video went viral and the woman was arrested on Tuesday morning. However, police is guilty of not taking the timely action.

Reportedly, the video was captured on January 5, “Yet no action was taken by the police because these attack has done by a woman,” Srivastava had written in his post.

Notably, Sandeep and Sangeeta are married since last seven years and have filed for divorce. The lady has filed dowry harassment and marital rape case against her husband.

Sangeeta was taking undue advantage of the dowry laws and was harassing the whole family since long. After a year of such atrocity, CCTV was installed to catch her red-handed, claimed Sandeep.

However, the lady has claimed that the footage is fake and it is a plan to defame her.

Speaking about the whole issue, Daljit Chowdhury, the senior police officer, said: “It is a pity that she behaved like this. There is a lot of fighting in the family, it is a family dispute, but now we have the footage. We will definitely take action.”
