On Monday, The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) revealed the dates of class X and the class XII board examinations. Usually, the exams start in the first week of March but because of elections polling dates are falling on March 4 and March 8, the exams for class X will start from 9 March and end on 10 April where for class XII the exams will begin on 9 March and end on 29 April.
In an ill-fated incident on Saturday, a bomb was detonated in Syria in which at least 43 people lost their lives and dozens got injured. The explosion occurred near the courthouse in the city of Azaz, located in north Aleppo. The location was just seven kilometers away from the Turkish border. The blast also blast caused considerable damage to the surrounding infrastructure.

On Monday, Turkish Airlines canceled over 200 flights after a heavy snowfall in Istanbul. The airlines announced the cancellation of 227 domestic and international flights which were scheduled to fly from Atatürk Airport and Sabiha Gokcen Airport.
On Sunday, the national flag carrier had canceled about 600 domestic and international flights. The General Directorate of State Airports Authority and Turkish Airlines have advised passengers to monitor the latest updates on their official website. The snowfall storm in Istanbul is described as the heaviest in last seven years and is expected to continue till Wednesday.
BSE benchmark Sensex saw downfall today and closed at 26,726.55 losing 32.68 points at the end of Monday trade. NSE’s Nifty also faced the grim as it settled lower by 7.75 points and closed on a bruising note at 8,236.05. Indian Rupee fell sharply as it lost 25 paise and came to 68.21 against the US Dollar.
