CBI Court Issued A Non-Bailable Warrant Against Vijay Mallya And 3 Other Updates!

1. Results Of SSC SI CPO Tier II Examinations 2015 To Be Out Today

According to a notification about the status report on the Staff Selection Commission, the results of SSC SI CPO Tier II examinations 2015 will be released today i.e. January 31. The candidates who appeared for the examinations can check their results by visiting the official website of Staff Selection Commission ssc.nic.in. The commission has also notified that the Final Result of the SSC Constable GD CAPFs Exam will be out on 3rd February 2017.

2. Honda Recalls 41,580 Vehicles In India Over Takata Airbag Issue!

Japanese auto giant Honda is recalling 41,580 cars of the previous generation of Accord, Civic, City and Jazz models in India. This exercise has been conducted to rectify faulty airbags in the units which were manufactured by Takata. The company has announced that Honda Cars India Ltd (HCIL) will voluntarily replace Takata passenger front airbag inflators of 41,580 vehicles of the previous generation of Civic, City, jazz and Accord as part of Honda’s precautionary global recall campaign concerning Takata front airbag inflators. The replacement of these airbags will be done free of cost at the company’s dealership across India and the company will communicate to customers directly.

3. A Non-Bailable Warrant Has Been Issued By CBI Court Against Vijay Mallya!

On Thursday, a special Central Bureau of Investigation court issued a non-bailable warrant against Vijay Mallya. The CBI has moved an extradition plea and is expected to approach the Ministry of External Affairs for its latest bid to have Mallya tried in an Indian court of law. The warrant was issued after Bharatiya Janata Party and Congress made claims and counterclaims regarding the controversial bailout given to Mallya’s defunct Kingfisher Airlines. Securities and Exchange Board of India had banned Mallya and six others from trading in the securities market in connection with the funds diversion case on 23rd January.

4. Shivpal Yadav Announced To Form A New Party

Samajwadi Party’s former Uttar Pradesh unit president Shivpal Yadav announced to form a new party after 11 March on Tuesday. He said that he will form a new party after the election results of the five states are announced. He also declared that any decision regarding the alliance between SP and Congress will be taken after the Assembly polls.
