With Prime Minister Modi’s decision of scrapping the denomination of 500 and 1000, came a lot of problems too. Actually not problems, but a general sense of chaos among people, regarding banning of money, banks being closed and all.
Even though certain banks and ATMs won’t be working for two days, RBI has said that the banks would indeed be working on this Saturday and Sunday. One can get their Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes, exchanged for Rs 100 notes. The banks are expected to work extra hours to meet the need of people and have a smooth atmosphere.
