1. Apollo Hospital denies rumours of Jayalalithaa’s death.

Tamil Nadu’s six-time Chief Minister is rumoured to be dead, but Apollo hospital is denying it and has said that she is on life support. She was admitted to the hospital on Sunday after a cardiac arrest. She has been one of the most powerful political leaders in the country, for which the public of Tamil Nadu cares deeply. A brawl between the AIADMK workers and police outside the Apollo hospital continues.

2. INS Betwa, a guided missile frigate of Indian Army tips over, Two dead and 14 injured.

INS Betwa is a frontline Indian Navy ship and it tipped over during its repair at Mumbai dockyard on Monday afternoon, around 2 pm. In the ongoing rescue operation, two are dead and 14 injured. Apart from this, a considerable amount of damage to the ship has been caused. The ship weighs 3850 tonnes and is 126 metres in length.

3. Apple confirmed that they are developing self-driving cars.

Apple’s director of product integrity, Steve Kenner admitted in his five-page letter to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration that they are developing a self-driving car. Rumours were circulating in the market for a long time, but no confirmation was received before.

4. 67.4 kg Gold has been missing from Indira Gandhi International Airport in last 7 months.

In last 7 months, a total of 67.4 kg Gold has disappeared from customs department’s vault. Apparently in the same time, 47 cases have been registered against New Delhi airport which is the highest in the past four years. 130 kg of Gold has been displaced from the customs vault at major airports in the country.
